On the17th May 2026 at 12pm till 5.30pm — Get ready for wagging tails, happy families, and a community coming together for a great cause. The Lions Club of Felixstowe is thrilled to announce the return of its 3nd Annual Dog Show, taking place at the Trimley Sports and Social Club in Trimley St. Martin.

Following the tail-wagging success of last year’s show, which drew a large crowd, this family-friendly event promises an even bigger day of fun. With dog competitions in various categories, local market stalls and games, and a classic BBQ and Ice Cream van. The event is a celebration of community spirit and canine charm.

Lots of volunteers will be supporting the event, with all proceeds going towards local charities. The Felixstowe Lions are part of the world’s largest service organisation, committed to making a difference in areas like health, hunger, and youth empowerment—both globally and right here in Suffolk.

Events like this bring joy to families while helping us serve the wider community, it is a fun, feel-good day with real impact.

The dogs are £4 for each classes. 

Some of the classes are handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best trick, best young handler, best under one, best veteran over 10, fancy dress and more.
