About
On the 30th November is Felixstowe Lions Club Christmas light up which starts 12 noon till 6pm – Lights light up at 5pm.
The Xmas lights started in 1979 and since then the Lions have put the lights up in town, every year the current President takes a trip to Swans Nursery to pick a tree for the triangle. We have a lovely surprise this year as the Lions have been working with Felixstowe Town Council (who help fund the lights each year) and BID, for a new light display. Every year we try and bring something different. Last year we were delighted with the new star, which was made by local company Kirton Forge. With our resident Lions and non-members Stuart Humpries and Kevin Ayris throughout the year they maintain the Xmas lights ready for light day.
Also at the event will be The Lions Famous BBQ, stalls and music. We mustn’t forget Santa’s Grotto.
Looking forward to see you there!
